Misr El Kheir Foundation implements the training program “Designing and Implementing Advocacy and Advocacy Campaigns”
Within the framework of the activities of the project “Enhancing the Roles of Non-Governmental Organizations in Sustainable Development and Climate Action at the Local Level - Sustainable Empowerment”, funded by the European Union, the Misr El Kheir Foundation implemented the training program “Designing and Implementing Advocacy and Advocacy Campaigns” with the participation of partner associations and grassroots association volunteers in the project.
The training program included integrated topics on the concepts of equality and equal opportunities, in addition to training on the foundations of advocacy and gaining support, and methods for designing and implementing effective campaigns, enabling civil society organizations to develop their roles in influencing public policies and enhancing community participation. The training program was presented by Dr. Ahmed Tammam and Dr. Adel Lutfi. The training sessions highlighted the importance of NGO advocacy campaigns as a pivotal tool for raising the voice of the most affected groups and achieving social justice. .
Misr El-Kheir Foundation Implementations Training Program: “Designing and Implementing Advocacy Campaigns”
The training program covered integrated modules on equality and equal opportunity concepts, in addition to practical training on advocacy fundamentals, strategies for gaining support, and methods for designing and executing effective campaigns. The aim was to empower civil society organizations to strengthen their role in influencing public policy and enhancing community participation. The sessions were led by Dr. Ahmed Tamam and Dr. Adel Lotfy, who emphasized the importance of advocacy campaigns as a key tool for amplifying the voices of vulnerable groups and promoting social justice.
It is worth noting that the Sustainable Empowerment project is being implemented by Misr El-Kheir Foundation in partnership with four Egyptian NGOs:
Bader Association for Sustainable Development in Fayoum
Nahdet Beni Suef Foundation
Islamic Charity Association in Nag’ El-Dar, Luxor Governorate
Egyptians Without Borders Foundation for Development in Aswan
The project aims to enhance civil society’s contribution to sustainable development and climate action.
